Where We Go Matters || Ruth 1:6-22

How is your soul?  Are you running on empty?

In our passage this week we find Naomi, Ruth’s mother-in-law, in a seemingly helpless situation. Her life was once full and beautiful, but now it is empty and bitter. She even proclaims that the Lord’s hand is against her. Naomi believes her situation is hopeless and that she is completely alone. Or, could it be that she is blinded by the grief surrounding the tragic events of her life? Could she possibly misunderstand God’s presence and movement in her circumstances?
